BASICS The airport is located sixteen miles (26 km) northwest of the center of Santiago.
TAXI The fare to the city center will be about 16,000-18,000 Pesos ($30-$35) with a travel time of around 30 minutes. Fares are metered, but it is suggested that you negotiate the fee in advance.
BUS Tour Express (56-2-671-7380 -- Spanish-only) buses leave the airport every 1/2 hour from 6:30 A.M. to 9 P.M., and meet passengers arriving on flights during the night. The buses go to the city terminal on Moneda Street, and from there it is a short taxi ride to most hotels. The fare is around 1,000 pesos ($1.75) and a the trip takes about 30 minutes. The bus leaves from just outside the arrivals area.
