BASICS The airport is located 11 miles (18 km) south of the center of Ottawa. TAXI Taxi fare to the city center hotels, near Parliament, the convention center, and the national museums, will be about $20 Canadian ($13). Travel time is about 20 minutes.
BUS A hotel shuttle runs 20 minutes before the hour and 10 minutes after the hour, from about 6 A.M. to 1 A.M. You can find the shuttle just outside the arrivals area. Fare is $9 Canadian ($6) one-way. Check with your hotel, to see if it is included in the bus route, or phone 1-888-862-7433. Travel time is from 20 to 30 minutes.
PUBLIC TRANSIT Two public buses, Routes 96 and 97, run from Ottawa to the airport, from 5 A.M. to 1 A.M., with three-four departurs an hour. The fare is $2.25 Canadian ($1.50).
