BASICS Orly is located nine miles (14 km) south of the center of Paris. A Web site for Orly Airport offers basic information about the airport, but not much more.
TAXI There are plenty of taxis outside the arrivals area. Fare to the city center is about 150-200 francs ($24-$33) with a travel time of 20 to 30 minutes; longer in heavy traffic.
TRAIN A free shuttle bus goes every 15 minutes from both terminals to the RER train (we've linked to an RER map) "C" line airport station where you can catch the "C2" train to Paris. The train stops at the central stations Gare d'Austerlitz, St. Michel, and Invalides. From any of these you can continue on the Metro, or take a taxi to your final destination. The train leaves every 15 minutes for the 25 minute journey to the city center. The fare is about 30 francs ($5).
BUS The Air France Bus leaves from both terminals and goes to the Air France city terminal by the Les Invalides Metro Station on the Left Bank. From there you can continue on the Metro or take a taxi to your final destination. Buses leave Orly every 12 minutes from 6 A.M. to 11 P.M. The fare is about 70 francs ($12) and the trip takes from 30 to 60 minutes.
TRANSFER TO CHARLES DE GAULLE A shuttle bus runs about every 20 to 30 minutes to Charles De Gaulle Airport from 6 A.M. to 11 P.M. The fare is around 60 francs ($10). Travel time is one hour to 90 minutes, depending on the traffic.
