BASICS Sky Harbor is located five miles (8 km) southeast of downtown Phoenix.
TAXI Taxis are available just outside the arrivals area. Fare is metered and will cost from $20-25 to the downtown area. Travel time is about 20 to 30 minutes. SHUTTLE A lower cost alternative to taxis are the SuperShuttle vans. They serve the whole Phoenix metro area, including Scottsdale and surrounding areas. When you leave the baggage claim follow the "van services" sign to the ground transportation booth. There will be a SuperShuttle attendant to help you. The vans go to your specific destination.
The fare to downtown ranges from $7 to $15, depending on the distance to your destination. Fares to Scottsdale, Tempe and Mesa are $10 to $35 depending on the distance. These fares are for the first person in your party, it is $5-$15 for each additional person.
