BASICS Denver International is located 25 miles (40 km) northeast of downtown Denver. There is a ground transportation center near the baggage claim area.
TAXI Taxis are available for the long ride downtown, with metered fares between $35-40. Fares increase with the number of passengers, so the price for two, for example, will come to $20-$22 each. Travel time to downtown Denver will take between 35 and 60 minutes.
BUS Private bus companies provide transportation from the airport. They depart frequently and stop at large downtown hotels such as the Brown Palace, as well as many other destinations in the metro area. The fare is $15 one-way, and travel time is from 35 to 60 minutes.
